3 poems/poets to read online

After a bit of reading this morning, here are three poems that made me, just for pleasure, read them again...

Eléna Rivera, from The Colors Project, from Tarpaulin Sky

Chad Sweeney, A Love Song, from Slope

Arlene Ang, The 35th Secret Love Poem, from Red River Review

Though these three poems discover themselves in different tones, each one makes me lift my eyes from the words to stare into space as if I know a truth is coming my way and I'd better be prepared. That's when I know a good poem has found me, and I pay attention.

thanks for the pitch, sam. glad you enjoyed. ;)

funny, we seem to be reading the same journals -- finished reading slope (and the archives) last week and i'm re-reading tarpaulin sky again. terrific journals, aren't they?
