Sam, I've never been down to Linville Falls, but I can see that I'm going to have to go. It looks like home to me.

The waterfall photo is incredible. The biggest surprise, on my trip to Switzerland, was all the waterfalls (viewed during train rides). I guess this time of year the snow melts down and makes the alpine streams into waterfalls.

Cheers, SB

Hey Sam,

'great to visit your blog again -- I'm not taking subs for Siren for a few weeks, so I could catch up, so yay(!) -- I've been able to get back to the blogs and even posting, wow.

ohhh, waterfalls! i so wish i could do that thing that Bewitched did with her nose, or Spock could do on that transporter, and magically, immediately be exactly where those phtots were taken. i think that's exactly what i need.

good to see a link to your work on siren -- did i email you and tell you i got alot of really favorable feedback on your poems? a readers' favorite. and of course some of those people included pother poets who really know their stuff, but one was my mother -- so thank you for that. up until reading your poems, i'm not sure she understood what i do or why, etc., etc. even my father, who is the prototypical engineer if there ever was one, even liked it! wow, not only literary appeal, but popular appeal as well! 'quite a feat.

stop by my blog and say hi -- hopefully i'll keep up with it.
