A classic song by a great band. I much prefer their early work when REM basically belonged just to us down here in Atlanta and Athens. :)

Thanks for the listen, G. Maybe the song is the soundtrack for your Resume post. Or - and this is better - the guy with the bicycle print ties should - while at work - be forced to wear headphones, listening to "End of the World" on repeat, all day long. That could only help, I think.
Lifes Rich Pageant.
(sigh)
Before I was hip to alternative/college radio music and still a headbanger, a dear, dear friend gave me Lifes Rich Pageant.
And that was the beginning of the end of my headbanging days.
That REM album and Sinead O'Connor's, The Lion and the Cobra are the two albums that had a huge impact on my musical taste. It's rare to own an album that you can listen to from beginning to end over and over and over again without skipping a single track and both of those albums fit that bill for me.

I haven't heard the end of the world in a long, long time.
LRP is a great album, Laurel. I'm partial to Automatic for the People and Murmur.
