fierce resistance to the new...

Very pleased to have a new poem, “Self-portrait,” appear at Reimagining Place, an online companion to the literary journal Ecotone, as part of the Addiction as Ecotone Series. Am in wonderful company.

"My only certainty is this window..."

I think I already told you that that's one of those lines I'd be carrying around inside me for a long time. It was good to read that line again and be reminded of its resonance.

For that matter, it was good to read the whole poem.

And good to see you published.

Bravo, sir.

(I watched No Country for Old Men last night on a whim. Good god. Not the kind of movie one should watch on a whim. I'm glad I saw it though. I feel changed somehow. Now, I need to sink my teeth into the book. Brolin wasn't nominated for any awards, was he? He should've been.)
