Hi Sam! Great choices--Collin manages to comment/"reframe" current events in a way that makes them "fresh". Very few people/poets can do that.
And I adore Sandra Beasley's stuff.We were in the same workshop, at IU(Indiana University)Writer's Conference, Summer 2004, with Maureen Seaton.

btw, in your current BFR, Felicia Mitchell's poem for her brother is quite tender. She appears to have "distance" with his death, even as she draws us, near. Lovely, lovely piece. I enjoyed reading her comments on the piece, too.
