We make a harvest of loneliness and desiring in the blank wasteland of the cosmos. - Jack Gilbert

It just came out on Criterion DVD. Did you buy it?
I did, Collin, and I couldn’t be more pleased. My understanding is that the Criterion version has the complete film, with all scenes in their intended forms. The PAL package does not offer that – cutting out some of the repeated scenes – but that repetition is essential to Buñuel’s concept of the story. Good assortment of supplements, as well.
It's on my list to buy. :) Criterion is putting out some fab stuff this year: The Last Metro and Wise Blood are my two must haves.
